I was laid off on Thursday. Seriously, I am ceasing to see the humour in the suckage of 2009.

I’m so sorry…hope you got a severance at least and knowing you, you will make the best of this. It seems like you have a ton of friends with connections so hopefully one of those will pan out…in the meantime enjoy a little “down” time 😉

Oh, I am so sorry! I was laid off at the end of April. It was somewhat of a blessing for me as I wanted to spend more time with my daughter, but I know you’ve talked about really needing that second income. Anyway, I just wanted to give a virtual hug and tell you to vent here all you want.

Oh, Karen. I can’t believe it. I am so sorry–that truly sucks. Maybe The Great Suckage of 2009 will end when Rosh Hashanah comes around because truly, your family has had way more than its share this year.
